Sunday, February 1, 2026

Full bag as of early 2026.

Driver: Titleist GT3 10°

Shaft: HZRDUS Black 5G 60 Regular
Distance: 250 normal, 270 on good days
Shot shape: Very straight, small fade as stock
Notes: The most reliable club in the bag. Nicknamed “Legolas”: straight and true. Leave it alone.

3-Wood: Titleist GT3

Shaft: HZRDUS Black 5G 80 Regular
Distance: 220–230 yards
Shot shape: Small fade or straight
Notes: Was hitting down on it and losing distance. Fix: sweep it like a driver. Trust the loft.

Hybrid: Titleist GT3 21°

Shaft: Tensei 1K Black 95 HY Stiff ← problem
Distance: Inconsistent, should be 195-210
Notes: Only stiff flex in the bag. 15g heavier than the 3-wood shaft. The head is fine, the shaft is wrong. Reshaft to ~70-75g regular pending.

Irons: Titleist T100

Shaft: AMT White G2 Regular
Distances:

ClubDistance
4i200 yards
5i185 yards
6i170 yards
7i155–160 yards
8i140–145 yards
9i130 yards

Notes: Demanding irons, bad strikes are honest. Range distances are real; course distances sometimes drop due to tension and commitment loss. Exploring T150, T200, Mizuno JPX 925 Forged, Srixon ZX5 MK II as alternatives. No proper fitting done yet.

Wedges: Vokey SM10

  • 52° 100 yards
  • 56° 80-85 yards (main short game weapon, sub-30 yard workhorse)
  • 60° 70 yards (reserved for high stopping shots)

Notes: No glove on sub-50 yard shots for better feel feedback.

Putter: TaylorMade Spider Tour

Notes: New grip setup (left index finger off, hold like other clubs) working well. Shoulder-driven stroke, taller address, no wrists.

Ball: Bridgestone Tour B X

Confirmed good fit for swing speed and compression profile. No reason to change.

Swing speed reference

  • Driver clubhead speed: ~103–108 mph
  • Driver ball speed: ~155–160 mph
  • 7-iron: ~79–82 mph
