The unified feel package
Everything distilled to its simplest form. The package that produced the 78.
This is where everything has landed. The simplest it has ever been.
Full swing
The anchor: slow backswing.
One cue, three benefits: slow back means eyes stay on ball, head stays still, face stays square, ball goes where aimed. The entire chain holds or collapses based on this one thing.
Grip pressure: 4/10 on backswing, 6-7/10 through release. Tension-free going back. Hands snap through at impact.
Feel: hands generate force and carry the arms into rotation. Not arms leading, hands leading, rotation following. This is different from where I started. Early on the feel was body-driven with passive hands. Now the hands are the engine and body rotation is the result. The scores are the proof.
Stock shot
Driver, 3-wood, hybrid: small fade. Stopped trying to go straight. The fade is more natural, more confident, costs nothing in distance. Aim left, let it come back.
Putting
Removed the left index finger from the grip. Hold the putter like every other club. Tried it in the round today without any practice. Worked immediately.
Taller at address. Shoulders drive it, pure horizontal movement. No pendulum, no wrists. Left hand just exists. Right hand does everything.
The short putt pull is gone. Ball at center, right hand leading, shoulders horizontal.
What this confirms
The swing is fine. No rework. Eyes on the ball is the only variable that matters. Slow backswing is how that happens.
